Franklin County Criminal Law Attorneys
A Distinguished History of Legal Service in North Central Iowa
Established in 1955, Cady & Rosenberg Law Firm, P.L.C. is a trusted and longstanding law firm serving the legal needs of people in Hampton and throughout North Central Iowa.
Our attorneys have decades of experience handling estate planning and probate, family law, criminal defense, personal injury, real estate law and other legal issues. Our record of success and our ability to handle such a wide range of issues have allowed us to build a practice in which the majority of our business comes from return clients and clients who were referred to us by friends and family members. This is a fact that we are extremely proud of.
We have received an AV peer review rating* through Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating.
Throughout our law firm’s history, our attorneys have handled a variety of landmark cases. For example, in Hamilton v. Wosepka, a contract interpretation case which went to the Iowa Supreme Court, we broke ground regarding the use of a specific evidence rule. Another contract interpretation that has been studied by legal scholars, Beckman v. Kitchen, involved specific performance of a real estate contract. The decision reached in DeCoster v. Franklin County opened the door to allowing hog confinement and confinement livestock operations being regulated by the Department of Natural Resources, rather than local zoning.
Active in the Legal Community and Beyond
Attorneys from our law firm have been elected to the Board of Governors of the Iowa State Bar Association, along with holding a variety of other leadership positions in the legal community. Of course, our activities extend beyond the legal community. Our attorneys have served on community organizations ranging from the Hampton Main Street Board to the Hampton Public Library Board and more.
